Sungrow 6th SCCBLC Badminton Team Tournament Registration Now Open
阳光电源第六届悉尼中国（含港澳台）高校羽毛球联赛报名开始了！
We are closing out another eventful year. We learned a lot from the unique challenges of 2020 and 2021, most prominently the importance of meaningful relationships, keeping in touch with our teams and checking in on each other. We started somewhat unsure, but we held our nerve and the resilience of SCCBLC (Sydney Chinese College Badminton League Club) prevailed. Sticking by our core values, teamwork and excellence, we brought long waited tournaments back on live. 166 players entered into the individual game, while 364 players from more than 100 universities and college in two days team competition.
This year will be remembered as a year of great achievement. A big thankyou to our tournament title sponsor Sungrow Australia Pty Ltd, support from universities and colleges, team leaders and players, especially to our lovely volunteers who took the time out of their busy schedules to contribute to the communities and make us stand out as always. Together we have shown what SCCBLC is capable of delivering exceptional results while embracing the spirits of sports. We should all be very proud of what we have achieved as a team in a very competitive world, please continue the good work.
We have pencilled our events as below:
2022.3.13: Competitive team and Social Team
2022.4.10: One University team and Maximum 4 Universities Alliance team Preliminary
2022.5.15: One University team and Maximum 4 University Alliance team Final
*Schedule might vary subject to public health order.
2022 tournament is classified as non-professional. Each team limits to Fourteen (14) players. . Competitive team can consist of up to 14 A grade players. Only one B grade player is allowed in Social team. Category Open does not limit university number, by saying that, the team can include up to 14 players from 14 universities. Each round will play 3 men double, 1 mixed double and 1 woman double. For single university team, they will play 2 men double, 1 mixed double, 1 women double and 1 free choice double. The grade of players at free choice double should be lower than others at the same round. One male and one female player can play mixed double concurrently in one round- this applies to all tournaments.
Player should be a member of SCCBLC, registration in our website www.ccblsyd.com is free. 13 March event is open to players born at Greater China (including mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) with tertiary education in Greater China (including mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) as well as Australian. April and May event is open to players received tertiary education in Greater China (including mainland, Hong Kong, Macau and Taiwan) only. Players in April and May events are eligible to participate March event. Team managers and players has obligation to be honest on their education qualification and the actual grade. SCCBLC may request supporting document when applicable and reserves the right to make the final decision over the registration of the players and team. Player list can be submitted 30 days prior to the tournament date.
It is strongly recommended to check information on our website, read through and familiarize with the tournament rules. Registration fee $200/team per day are non-refundable if cancel within 30 days of the tournament day. Please download the registration form from website and email ccblcsyd@gmail.com for a copy. Team manager is compulsory to join the Wechat group and attend meetings when applicable.
Tournament has amateur sports insurance cover, but all participants should consider their own condition and be liable for own well beings.
Besides these normal events in the last 6 years, we have entered a partnership with NSW Epping West Chinese School to promote Inter Community Language Schools Badminton Challenge project. Funding to this project has been provided by the NSW government. We also would like to extend the partnership to our members and the local badminton Effective from today, we would like to introduce “Approved Trainer” and “Approved Referee” program. If you are able to communicate both in English fluently, willing to teach students from community language schools, please email your CV and Working with Children Check number to ccblcsyd@gmail.com. Once selected you will be asked to provide date of birth for verification in Working with Children check system. We respect your privacy, and will not disclose your personal information except Working with children check system. The verification can be conducted onsite. All the approved trainer and referee name for this project will be published in our website with your consent. Inter Community Language Badminton Tournament will be held on Sunday 26 June 2022. 人生天地之间，若白驹过隙，忽然而已。2020年因为疫情按下暂停键的联赛今年得以进行，感谢阳光电源慷慨赞助，感谢校友会和领队的大力支持，感谢球员的积极参与，感谢百忙之中抽出时间辛勤劳作的义工，我们的单项比赛、团体比赛、领队季后赛和义工季后赛都顺利进行，第五届联赛正式完满收宫。在新的一年快要到来之时，我们总结这两年的基础上正式启动第六届联赛报名工作，感谢关注，欢迎围观！
第六届联赛的初步安排如下：
2022.3.13 公开组团体赛（竞技和联谊）
2022.4.10 单一和四校联队团体初赛
2022.5.15 单一和四校联队团体决赛
参赛资格：
公开组赛区：大中华（含港澳台）出生，18岁以上的通过大中华（含大陆港澳台）或者澳大利亚高考或者高校自主招生，被正式录取并注册入学的在读生，毕业生，结业生，肆业生和教职员工。参加过前三届的外卡球员可以参加公开组赛区的比赛。
单一院校和四校联队赛区：18岁以上的通过大中华（含大陆港澳台）高考或者高校自主招生，被正式录取并注册入学的在读生，毕业生，结业生，肆业生和教职员工。符合本赛区参赛资格的球员可以同时参加公开组赛区比赛。
参加联赛的所有球员需要在官网www.ccblsyd.com进行免费注册。第六届联赛公开组依然定位为社区体育活动，Open级别或者退役10之内的职业球员不适合参加第六届联赛。每一支球队最多为14人。公开组赛区分竞技和联谊组。公开赛区竞技组的球员最高级别为A+,联谊组只能有一名B级球员。
所有参赛球员必须是通过高考或高校自主招生，被正式录取并注册入学的专科生或者本科生和具有高等院校学籍的研究生，博士生，交换生。范围涵盖毕业生，结业生，肄业生和留学生。联赛是本着非盈利非政治非宗教原则成立和运作。所有参赛球员有如实申报的义务，领队有协助组委监督的责任，球队的领队必须经过组委同意才能担任。提供认证的资料可以是毕业证、学位证书、成绩单、公证书、毕业照、学生证、校友卡和学校证明。认证资料可以由领队提供，球员现场提交或者电邮ccblcsyd@gmail.com. 组委严格保护球员的隐私，不保留任何认证资料。提供认证的资料可以隐去个人出生日期。只有在收到异议或者认为信息可疑的情况下组委才会要求再次提供进行调查核实并作出相应更新。球员只需一次认证，已经认证过的不需要再次认证。经过认证后球员背景调查一栏中的系统显示Verified by Credential Committee。
团体赛进行3男双1女双1混双比赛，为了方便单一院校组队，单一院校赛区将进行2男双1混双1女双1自由组合的比赛。1名男生和1名女生在同一轮比赛中可以兼项一次。同一轮中自由组合的球员级别必须比其他组合的低。传统的团体比赛分单一院校和联队两个赛区进行比赛。联赛鼓励以高校校友会为单位参赛，单一院校球队球员必须是来自同一所高校，以最新的高校名称为准。没有校友会或者校友会球员人数不足组成单一院校球队的球员可以自行成立联队参赛。第六届联赛中参加传统团体比赛的联队球员只能由四所高校球员组成，连续在同一个联队效力三届以上的球员可视为该联队主要高校球员。一支球队中球员来自超过四所高校的请移步公开组。
羽毛球是竞技活动，虽然联赛购买了业余运动的一般保险，为了安全起见，请参加球员根据各自实际情况再报名参加，球员应该对自己的福祉负责。报名费为$200/球队/天，公开组的赛事为一天（报名费$200/球队），单一和传统四校联队的比赛为两天（报名费$400/球队）。比赛日前30天内退出的报名费不予以退款。 球员名单可以在比赛日前30日电邮提交。报名表在网站下载或者联系组委领取。
除了传统的团体比赛，我们俱乐部将和新州西爱坪中文学校联手推动新州社区语言学校羽毛球联赛项目。该项目得到新州政府的资助。诚意邀请可以用英文沟通的羽毛球教练和裁判加入这个项目。有意者请把你的简历和儿童工作审查号码(working with children check number)发到我们的邮箱ccblcsyd@gmail.com. 初步审核合格者会被要求提供出生日期进行系统核查。这个可以现场操作，我们不保存个人信息，而且个人信息只和儿童工作核查系统分享。经核准的教练和裁判的信息在得到当事人同意的情况下将于在网站公布。新州社区语言学校羽毛球比赛将于2022年6月26日进行比赛。请留意www.ccblsyd.com 和www.eppingwestchineseschoo.nsw.edu.au 的更新。
